How 4 Leaders Are Building Greater Transparency Into Their Businesses

The word “transparency” is thrown around a lot in the workplace. Team members want a better handle on what’s going on within the company, and leaders are often trying to balance what’s important for people to know and what could create an unnecessary distraction. The impact of more open transparency though can be significant as it showcases to team members that you trust them with important, and sometimes unpleasant, information. It also can foster increased collaboration and creativity to work through challenges, and if tough decisions need to be made people understand why.

Another key part of transparency is being clear on company goals, and making sure those are know. Here is a piece from Forbes that I contributed to where I discuss the importance of having measurable goals, and how to create them in a collaborative way to increase buy-in and execution.
